English Version
So many flowers in bloom
But no breeze in sight,
Where do I find the bee?
Bhagirath waited so long,
The eyes have withered;
Where do I find the Ganga?
The stars have risen
In the moonless sky,
Where do I bring the moon from?
The Ramayana dances
On the tongue, but where
Do I bring ears from?
What I long to write,
Which tongue should I write in?
Where is my tongue?
What I long to tell,
Whom should I tell?
Where are my people?

फुला कती फुलयली
वाऱ्याचा पत्ताच नय
भुंगा कया शोदू?
भागिरथाचं वाटंवं
कोमेजलं डोलं, आता
गंगा कया शोदू?
चांन्या जरी उंगावल्या
आमोशेचे आकाशान
चांद कन्शी आनू?
रामायन नाचतय
जिबंवं; बिन ऐकाला
कान कन्शी आनू?
मना जो लिवाचा हाय
तो लिवू कंचे भाशेन?
माजी भाशा कंची?
मना जो सांगाचा हाय
तो सांगू तरी कॉनला?
माजी मान्सा कंची??
